All22 Prototype
In collaboration with Fletcher Chicago, Camargus developed a prototype of a special replay system called All22 for ESPN's Monday Night Football. It was tested several times throughout the 2010 NFL season.
The All22 system is a wide-angle multi-camera system based on Camargus' video stitching technology. The All22 captures anything that might have been missed by the regular set of cameras. Anything unexpected, away from the main focus, away from the ball. Great for instant replays of unexpected events, but also for creating a more comprehensive analysis of the game. It will always capture more than the other cameras because it simple captures everything on the field. You'll get more content without having to invest in multiple additional cameras and crew.
Another camera system called Endzone was also developed for ESPN.
