Maxx Zoom (Endzone Prototype)

In collaboration with Fletcher Chicago, Camargus developed a prototype of a special replay system called Endzone for ESPN's Monday Night Football. It was used several times throughout the 2010 NFL season under the name Maxx Zoom. The Endzone system provides replays from different vantage points in order to offer the definitive look on any contested play in the endzone area. It builds on Camargus' video stitching technology for combining multiple video feeds into a 16 megapixel feed. Unlike a regular HD camera, Maxx Zoom's high resolution offers unprecedented detail-preserving zoom sequences during replays, thereby offering the best look on the situation.

Another camera system called All22 was also developed for ESPN.
